Pho Bonsa is the kind of place you find tucked off Normal Avenue and remember for years. We opened with a simple goal: serve the pho we grew up with — slow, honest, and unmistakably Vietnamese — to the neighbors, students, and travelers passing through Chico.

Every morning we roast bones, char ginger and onion, and skim the broth by hand. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is shortcut. The result is a bowl that tastes like Sunday at home — and a menu of banh mi, spring rolls, and Vietnamese drinks to match.
